Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
Introduction
2748467 Alberta Inc., operating as Adams Enterprises ("we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services, or interact with us.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We have designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our compliance; contact details are in the Contact section below.
Please note: our answering and monitoring services involve recording telephone calls. See "Call Recording" under Information We Collect.
By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our services.
Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect includes:
Personal Information
When you place an order, create an account, submit a quote request, or contact us for support, we may collect:
- Name and contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address)
- Business information (company name, industry, role)
- Account credentials (username, password)
- Payment information (processed securely by our payment processors)
- Communication records (emails, support tickets, call logs)
Technical Information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website:
- IP address and geographic location
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device type
- Referral source and pages visited
- Date and time of access
- Clickstream data and navigation patterns
Usage Information
We collect information about how you interact with our services:
- Features and services you use
- Content you view or interact with
- Search queries and preferences
- Performance and error data
Call Recording and Message Content
Our answering, dispatch and monitoring services involve handling telephone calls and messages on behalf of our business clients. In the course of that work we collect:
- Audio recordings of calls, where recording is enabled for the account being called
- Call detail records — numbers dialled and received, date, time, and duration
- The content of messages, dispatches and tickets taken on a client's behalf
- Contact and on-call directory information supplied by our clients about their personnel
- Safety check-in records, and any location information you choose to share when using a safety check-in service
Why we record. Recordings are used to deliver the service accurately, to resolve disputes about what was said or dispatched, for quality assurance and staff training, and where required for safety or legal reasons. Where we control the greeting on a recorded line, notice of recording is given at the start of the call.
Recordings and call records are retained for the period configured on the relevant account and are then deleted. We do not sell recordings.
Automated tools and AI. We may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence services operated by third parties, to help deliver the service — for example transcribing or summarising a call, or flagging a quality issue. Those providers act on our behalf, and we select providers whose terms restrict use of the material to performing that task for us. We do not use recordings or message content to train models of our own. A human remains accountable for any dispatch, escalation or safety decision.

Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We are committed to honoring these rights in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you service-related messages (such as account notifications, security alerts, or transactional emails).
Exercising Your Rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer using the information in the Contact section below. We will respond within thirty (30) days as required by Canadian privacy legislation, or tell you if we need an extension and why. We may need to verify your identity first. Access requests are provided free of charge in most cases; if a fee would apply we will tell you before proceeding.
Where we act for a business client. When we answer calls or provide monitoring for one of our business clients, we handle personal information on that client's behalf and under their control. If you are a caller, employee or customer of one of our clients and you want to access or correct information about you, contact that organization directly — or contact us and we will pass your request to them.
Right to complain. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or your request, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, for matters under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca). Nothing in this policy limits that right.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When determining the appropriate retention period, we consider factors such as:
- The nature and sensitivity of the information
- The purposes for which we process the information
- Legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements
- Whether we have a legitimate business need to retain the information
When we no longer need your personal information, we will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
International Data Transfers
We are based in Alberta, Canada, and personal information is primarily stored in Canada. However, some of the people and providers who help us deliver our services are located outside Canada.
These include contracted answering, monitoring and support personnel, telecommunications and messaging carriers, cloud and hosting providers, and providers of automated and artificial-intelligence tooling. We may also engage a partner call centre to operate answering or monitoring services on our behalf.
This means personal information — including the content of calls and messages we handle for our clients — may be accessed, stored or processed outside Canada. While in another country, that information is subject to the laws of that country, and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under lawful process.
We remain accountable for personal information transferred to our service providers. We use contractual and other means to require them to protect it to a standard comparable to our own, and we limit their access to what is needed to do their job.
If where your data is processed matters to you, talk to us before you engage our services. We will tell you the current categories of service provider and the countries involved for the service you are considering, and confirm in writing anything you need to rely on. Data-residency, retention or handling commitments beyond this policy are agreed in your service agreement — we would rather have that conversation up front than have you assume a condition we have not agreed to.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Providing notice through our services or via email for significant changes
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Your continued use of our services after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
